1. Introduction

Gym Tech ("GT", "we", "us") is operated by 4040 Labs (Fourty Fourty). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect from gym businesses and their members when using the GT platform, and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

  • Business account information (name, contact details, billing).
  • Member records uploaded by gym operators (name, phone number, email, membership tier, attendance, payment status).
  • Communication logs (WhatsApp message status, support tickets, appointment history).
  • Technical data (IP address, browser, login activity) for security and analytics.

3. WhatsApp data usage

GT integrates with the WhatsApp Business API to send transactional and service messages on behalf of gym operators. This includes:

  • Membership reminders, renewals, and payment confirmations.
  • Appointment confirmations and class booking notifications.
  • Customer support replies and operational updates.

Member phone numbers are processed only to deliver these messages. We do not sell member data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing outside of the gym's own communications. Delivery metadata is retained for audit and support purposes.

Members can opt out of WhatsApp communications at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting their gym or support@4040labs.in.

4. How we use data

  • To deliver the GT platform and its features to gym operators.
  • To send transactional notifications via WhatsApp, email, or in-app channels.
  • To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • To improve product performance and security.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We share data with sub-processors required to operate the service (cloud hosting, WhatsApp Business Solution Providers, payment processors). We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Data retention

Business and member data is retained for the duration of the gym's active subscription. On termination, data is deleted within 90 days unless legally required to retain longer.

7. Security

Access to the GT dashboard is protected by authentication and role-based controls. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to support@4040labs.in.
